Labor Day Weekend Legends of the Blues Concert to Benefit The National Cowboys of Color Museum and Hall of Fame

Fort Worth, TX (PRWEB) July 16, 2007 -- The National Cowboys of Color Museum (NCCM) announces that tickets are now on sale for the historic Legends of the Blues concert benefiting the museum during the NCCM Labor Day weekend celebrations.

This year's concert will feature blues icons Buddy Guy, The Muddy Waters Band featuring all original members including Pinetop Perkins and James Cotton and Robert Johnson contemporary David "Honeyboy" Edwards together for one evening at Billy Bob's of Texas. The concert is set to raise funds for the NCCM and its efforts including a campaign for a new building project.

"This will be a concert that blues lovers will not want to miss," says Gloria Reed Austin, executive director of NCCM. "We're expecting a packed house to see these great legends take the stage for a concert that will not be seen again anytime soon."

The NCCM Labor Day four-day weekend will be full of special events starting with Thursday's Hall of Fame induction ceremony and ending with a special presentation by the Lone Star Regulators on Sunday.
